Alejandro Chang

Hey everyone, welcome! My name is Alejandro and I'm currently a Senior Software Engineer located in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have over 6+ years of software development experience in Frontend, Backend, Web and Mobile Applications with an emphasis in scalibility, accessibility and performance.


I have first-hand experience working at small startups as well as some the biggest unicorn in the world. I was incredibly blessed to be the first FE engineer for the US Department at TikTok which brough me incredible experience - helping ramp up their department (helping hire over 50+ engineers of all levels), contributing to their core-business development which included 7 business different verticals and being present during one of their biggest booms of the companies history.


When I'm not coding, I love building the kingdom of heaven ⛪, I love exploring and traveling the world ✈️, trying new cuisines and foods, visiting the beach 🏖️, playing sports and reading. Anything that requires me to think or be active, you can count me in!

I'm an energetic product and software engineer with the creative mindset of an entrepreneur. I have experience in web development, web applications, and mobile applications with both bredth and depth in the technology space.

I am technology agnostic, yet solution focused. I focus on understanding products deeply and intricately to come up with the best solutions for them. I have developed and designed creative, functional and detail-oriented websites, web applications and mobile applications while adhering to latest Software Engineering practices and conventions.

In my years of experience I tackle the biggest priorities of any organization. I ask the right questions to undertand a product and focus on the most impactful changes we can make. I am team oriented and put a heavy emphasis on clear communnication. Through my years of experience I have seen that the biggest bottelneck tends to be context, I cut through the noise to understand truly what is trying to be accomplished and how I can leverage my expertise to get you there.
